Smart Farm IT Infrastructure
Reliable rural connectivity is now part of the electrical infrastructure. We design the power, fibre, data and wireless backbone needed to connect buildings, equipment, security and modern agricultural technology.

What we can provide
Farm-wide connectivity, structured data networks, building-to-building wireless links, resilient internet and the digital backbone required for modern agricultural technology.
- Farm-wide wired and wireless connectivity
- Structured Cat6/Cat6A and fibre networks
- Point-to-point links between buildings
- Outdoor Wi-Fi and resilient internet
- Network infrastructure for CCTV, IoT and agri-tech
Planned to suit the site
Infrastructure and energy projects rarely fit a standard template. We assess the existing supply, distribution, operating requirements, future loads, access and resilience needs before recommending a practical solution. The final scope is confirmed following survey and design.
Reliable connectivity across farms and rural estates
Modern farms increasingly depend on connected equipment, CCTV, monitoring, livestock technology and cloud-based systems. Rural sites can be challenging because buildings are dispersed and conventional Wi-Fi coverage often does not reach where it is needed. Avenor designs the supporting infrastructure around the actual site layout and operational requirements.
Solutions can include Cat6/Cat6A structured cabling, fibre links, wireless point-to-point connections, access points, cabinet power and network infrastructure for cameras, sensors and smart-farm systems. By coordinating electrical and data infrastructure together, future technology can be added without repeatedly rebuilding the underlying network.
